At the time they were the largest such systems anywhere in the world. The System at the Sha Tin Racetrack in Hong Kong, serves an 89,000 seat Track, with two languages simultaneously, and over 300,000 watts of automatically controlled audio in 185 output zones. Worked under the direction of Peter Barnett, Principal, who is also the author of the Common Intelligibility Scale, a world-wide metric for determining the degree of intelligibility of audio reproduction systems.
