  • Identifies hazards and evaluates or re-evaluates risks associated with each component of the work system; • Develops and updates the prevention and protection plan; • Prepares internal instructions for the implementation and application of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and Emergency Situations (ES) regulations; • Proposes OSH and ES duties and responsibilities corresponding to each role within the organization; • Verifies the knowledge and compliance of all employees with the measures outlined in the prevention and protection plan, as well as with their assigned duties and responsibilities in the areas of OSH, ES, and environmental protection; • Prepares the necessary technical documentation for the information and training of employees in OSH and ES; • Develops training topics for all instruction phases, establishes the appropriate frequency for each position, ensures the delivery of OSH and ES training, and verifies employee understanding and implementation of the information provided; • Designs the OSH and ES training and assessment program at the organizational level; • Ensures the development and communication of the emergency action plan in case of serious and imminent danger, and ensures that all employees are adequately trained on it; • Maintains records of high-risk and specific-risk areas, identifies the need for safety signage, and determines the appropriate type and placement of signage in compliance with legal requirements; • Keeps records of trades and occupations requiring specific legal authorization; • Maintains records of job roles that necessitate additional medical examinations or, based on the recommendation of the occupational health physician, require skills testing and/or regular psychological evaluations; • Monitors the functionality of protective systems and devices, measuring and control equipment, ventilation systems, and other installations used to manage harmful substances in the work environment.
