  As CEO for the Norwegian part of the company I also held training sessions for customers, implemented customer specific solutions. To build maintenance tools we used languages like C for UNIX, MS-DOS and MS Windows. A major part of my position was to install and setup database-related (Oracle) systems for newspaper production, maintenance and administration of UNIX-based MIPS / DDE multi-system servers.

  My role was to lead the development department. We developed program for health, safety and security called CHESS. Our solution was used by approximately 600 companies who handled chemicals in Norway, among them Jotun, Shell and Hydro. We used PowerBuilder as our development environment, and the system was designed to run against Sybase SQL Anywhere / Server, Oracle and MS SQL Server.

  My responsibility was to lead and develop the corporate software and services. Part of my role was to organize processes and documenting the qualities that we could achieved. We developed software and services related to quality, safety, calculation, administration and customer follow-up for the building and construction business. I joined the company when it was in the start-up phase and was hired as the Development Manager. Since the company was going through reorganization I became responsible for service provision in ICT, safety, quality assurance, technical and professional support. Main responsibility was to lead and develop the corporate software and services. ByggSafe AS was a fusion of NIKO (Norwegian Internal Control) and PBN (Planand Build Norway AS). The company had more than 12,500 customers and one of the largestplayers in the sector.We developed software and services related to quality, safety, calculation, administration and customer follow-up for the building and construction business.   As Production Manager I was responsible for developing computer technical solutions, including operational responsibility for the development teams. Notus Systems was manufacturer and supplier of software for personnel planning in the public and private sectors. The company had more than 2,000 customers, among them approximately half of all municipalities in Norway. Our department developed solutions for Web and Windows Platform. As part of being Production Manager there were focus on improvement of processes and quality of existing software portfolio.   As CTO I was responsible for development resources at our offices in Norway and Thailand. We developed WebOn standard framework used in software development projects for our customer. I was responsible for our company's competence portfolio and production processes, and was implementing new work processes based on Lean / Kanban. WebOn had offices in Norway (Tønsberg) and Thailand (Bangkok) where we made solutions for Product Information Management (PIM). Our PIM was focused on sales of products in multiple channels with special focus on the e-commerce market. Our expertise covered areas of web development, integration, design, usability, analytics, measurement and operation.   As Test, Change and Release Manager in eCommerce and Marketing Technology I work with international development teams where I coordinate and follow up the development of Elkjøp's systems, including Elkjøp's new online store called Next Generation Retail (NGR/Next/B2X) in all countries. In the NGR-project I have had roles such as Project Manager, Test Manager and Change and Release Manager. As part of Elkjøp Nordics former OCIO team we were supporting our product teams with advisory and tools for business and development processes. As Project Manager for Prep4Peak project my focus has been to coordinate, plan and follow up preparation for supporting the domains through Black Weeks, Black Friday, Christmas and New years sales.
