  Summer 2021 I interviewed for & accepted a Nurse Clinical Intership (NCI) Position for Summer 2022 on Avera Pediatrics & PICU. This is a 10 week paid internship from May 31, 2022 - August 6, 2022. We followed alongside an RN Preceptor, had weekly goals meeting, and a skills checklist to meet. We had a midpoint evaluation & a final evaluation to see overall progress. We also had to put together a case presentation throughout the first 7 weeks on one patient we cared for and present to our peers, unit & program leaders, & mentors on week 9.
