      Within Bicar & Derivatives (Soda Ash GBU of Solvay), I am appointed as Product Manager for CASO® (calcium Chloride) This business is serving many different markets (de-icing, food, tartaric acid, additive in inorganic chemistry, Oil drilling, de-dusting, construction chemicals) and is historically rooted in Italy, where the production is located, but with an international horizon as the product is sold on a global basis.My role as Product manager is to monitor and increase profitability of calcium chloride business, helping to consolidate budget and Best Forecast figures. I take care of identifying the right strategy for pricing of the product, coordinating the Sales Team efforts in this direction. One of my task is also to identify new market segments for new developments. I am the interface between Commercial Team and Production & Logistics and I participate in the discussion for production planning and when necessary I take part also in the preparation of business case for capex.
