      Tasked with the development and implementation of a novel technique that can measure the velocity profile of conducting fluids both in single and multiphase flows.- Prepared technical documents, work scopes, and project plan for research work.- Monitored and evaluated technical progress on engineering design, procurement, and studies, against standards, objectives, and specification, to provide technical support to address and resolve issues encountered by the project.- Designed and conducted appropriate experiments to evaluate the performance of a multi-electrode dual frequency electromagnetic flow meter using University of Huddersfield’s multiphase flow loop. - Designed and implemented a reconstruction and signal processing algorithm using Discrete Fourier Transform.- Developed COMSOL models for investigating and testing the performance of a multi-electrode dual frequency electromagnetic flow meter.- Developed and tested a novel method of reconstructing velocity profiles using COMSOL and MATLAB.       - Developed and executed tests for a new product (water cut meter) and initiated continuous improvement of the testing.- Created and executed validation testing plans, working together with research and development engineers.- Led a design team of 5 engineers that built a pressurised multiphase flow loop facility to specification, which was capable of delivery of air, oil and water used to evaluate the performance of the prototype water cut meter.- Analysed and evaluated data using MATLAB and Excel and presented results and findings to team members and all stakeholders.- Co-designed and developed a data acquisition unit which performs phase and amplitude measurement used for computing the water fraction of multiphase flow in a pipeline.- Responsible for change and risk management throughout the project as well as managing internal and external suppliers, contractors, and manufacturers.- Responsible for planning, budgeting, managing, and controlling all project activities. - Responsible for the safety and operational aspects of equipment, ensuring that they are safe and fully compliant with all appropriate regulation.- Developed a signal processing algorithm with MATLAB for computing in-phase and quadrature components of complex signals.- Developed electronic circuit prototypes and mechanical assemblies to optimise sensing arrays, signal detection and electromagnetic compatibility screening elements. - Designed efficient and compact electromechanical guarding of coils particularly to avoid fringing effects.
