    • Frank's Casing

      Oct 1997 - Jul 2005
      HSE Coordinator

Started giving safety meetings every two for (2) weeks. We had the worst safety record of most other Frank's locations. I saw a need and eventually the manager allowed me to have them at Holiday Inn. It gave that much more credence to the need to set the tone of safety importance. Within two (2) years Corpus made it's first full year without a recordable and then the next year also. It caught one of our customers attention, Shell Oil and they invited me and the manager to give a presentation on how and what did we do to reach that goal. Jesus blessed me, and then an opportunity came up to open a satellite location in Laredo.....and I took it. Show less

    • Frank's International

      Jul 2005 - Jan 2021
      Manager

UPDATE: 11/05/2015:Now have forty (40) employees, 3 Crews, 1.5 Laydown Crews, 2-TAWG Ops. Have several men on the extra board. Needless to say, the crunch has hurt us. We are still kicking even though we are streamlined it makes for us to help out other locations such as Odessa and New Mexico. We are still reaching our Safety Goal and as of today, it's been a year without a recordable. Our goal is to go to the end of December and that will be one calendar year without a recordable. We also are not a Privately Owned Company anymore as well. We are a Public Company and things have changed. So far that's the best I can say.Opened this satellite office. Now have 52 employees. 6-5 Men casing crews, 2-2 Men Laydown Crews, 2-TAWG Operators. We also have 9 extra casers on the board. We are just 6 weeks away from having another calendar year without a recordable. This office has broken safety records various times and one which I am extremely proud of and no other company of equal competitors can boost, we reached 1,000,000 One Million man-hours without a recordable a couple of years ago.Our business is blessed and the company is still a multi-million dollar business and privately owned. Great family business that allows anyone who deserves to be promoted will be promoted and not because of being a family member. Show less
