      Received my Masters Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in water resources. Took a wide variety of water related classes such as the following: Hydraulics Systems Engineeing, Open Channel Flow, Hydrology, Physico – Chemical Water & Wastewater Treatment, Pumps and Wells, Environmental Law, and more. Completed a project that sought to understand the dampening effect on the orfice equation that varying water head and tail water depth would have.

      Worked as an engineering technician and coordinating with water operations and engineering to calibrate outflow devices under different flow conditions. Work included the development of rating curves and programming of sensors, general canal surveying and multiple flow measurement techniques. The SonTek River Surveyor and FlowTracker were among the equipment used in gathering flow data. Involved in development of maintenance programs such as herbicide and aquatic weed abatement.
