  - Collect necessary engineering data, relevant drawings and technical information required to timely execute the assigned project in a safe manner in accordance with EDC standing procedures, work instructions.- Prepare project C.T.R (cost – time – resources), which should include the activity description, resources, duration, cost and output.- Projects execution with adherence with EDC Quality management system & Safety procedures.- Prepare good definition of the project, project quality plan & scope of work required for improvement attached with approved drawings by EDC and classification authority.- Evaluate the sub-contractors required to execute the project in accordance with EDC standards and based on their previous experience, system, management, facilities, cost and time schedule.- Decide on the required materials using detailed specification and consider standard items such as steel plate, pipe, cable…etc.- Arrange to get approval and signatory levels in accordance with the company delegation of authority.- Get necessary approvals of the projects documents as per the established procedures and instructions in accordance with EDC’s delegation of authority chart.- Prepare necessary work orders to awarded contractor and clear scope of work inclusive.- Ensure the materials are properly received, safely stored and issued for use.- Review & monitor the contactor’s internal procedures during project execution and if necessary intervene to rectify any malpractices.- Ensure that all fabrication and erection whether of the contractor yard or on site are properly performed to meet the agreed on specification and in accordance with EDC standards.- Prepare for equipment testing, acceptance and certification, Rig commissioning after project SOW is completed.- Ensure that all relevant documentation (manuals, reports, drawings, certificates) are being collected on time and properly filed on hard and/or soft copy.
