Diploma thesis with subject: “Reverse Engineering and manufacturing two stroke R/C engine sleeve with lost wax casting process ” Objective of the thesis was to manufacture a two stroke R/C engine sleeve using the principles of reverse engineering. All stages of the procedure where followed from design to manufacture. Scanning the form with 3d laser scanner and collecting cloud point, Meshing and generating surfaces using Solidworks, Casting FEA simulation of the 3d model and finding the best conditions with ProCAST, Creating wax prototypes in the laboratory using various methods and finally casting the part in centrifugal casting machine.
