  DUTIES• Coordinates field operations with team members and DCS operator to ensure efficient process flow.• Undertake routine checks and monitor conditions of process equipments to report any anomalies to unit supervisor for corrective actions.• Operates process equipments such as Turbine and Motor Pumps, Wet Gas Compressor, Main Air Blower, Direct Fired Air Heater , Steam Superheater, Refinery and Instrument Air Compressors, Nitrogen PSA, Gas Seperation Absorbers, Strippers, Columns and Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Steam Generators, Control and Slide Valves etc.• Prepares work area and equipments for maintenance and coordinates to ensure procedural conformance.• Log process parameters to ensure it is within operating range.• Carryout catalyst loading and unloading to and from storage, catalyst filling and withdrawal at start-ups, running and shut-downs.• Take samples of catalyst, cracked and treated hydrocarbon products, process chemicals nitrogen, water etc for quality control analysis.• Handle emergencies in RFCC and its Utilities units.• Prepare process chemicals such as UOP Merox catalyst, caustic, phosphate, hydrazine, diethanol amine (DEA) etc.• Undertake turn-around and shutdown maintenance operations.• Facilitate and train new employees and personnel on internship etc. Show less

  Operational Responsibilities• Supervise the receiving of crude oil from vessel through pipeline from oil jetty to storage tanks and feeding to crude distillation unit.• Perform control room board operations during plant start-up and shut- down operations.• Plan and coordinate production processes on daily basis to produce high quality products.• Supervise work on the field and establish safety procedures and environmental regulations for employees.• Tends series of tanks to store and distribute Crude Oil for use in the Oil refinery.
