As Senior Client Systems Consultant I installed, provided training for and supported DHL's propriety Shipment Processing Systems on client sites.   After the departure of the ICT Technical Manager I acted as Network Manager while Grieg City Academy recruited a replacement. In addition to the duties previously undertaken as the Assistant IT Specialist I negotiated service level agreements and licensing, conducted the annual budgeting exercise and took on the day to day management of a 4 person team and various contractors Greig City Academy is a specialist IT Academy. As the Assistant IT Specialist I provided hardware and software support in a Windows environment consisting of servers, desktops, laptops and tablets and other peripheral network devices. I was responsible for the backup of critical data, maintaining the web filtering service and creating and updating procedural, best practice and training documentation.

  In addition to the duties listed under Senior Systems Administrator for Snow and Rock my duties expanded to include selecting a Chip and Pin provider for Snow and Rock’s bespoke EPOS System, planning Snow and Rock’s IT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity strategy, ensuring Snow and Rock would be PCI compliant by the 2008 deadline and managing general purchasing, budget planning and management for the IT Department. As Senior Systems Administrator at Snow and Rock I designed, implemented, managed and supported a new Windows 2003 infrastructure, supported all servers, including Exchange 2003, over a multi-site environment, was responsible for all IT security (Anti-Virus, Web Filtering and Backup and Recovery), and support of all end user devices such as desktop PCs, laptops, and printers. Additionally I supported the design department running 8 Mac desktops. I also recruited and managed one direct report.

  At Tragus my role rapidly expanded. Additional key responsibilities included working with and developing supplier capabilities and ensuring that services where delivered to the agreed Service Level Agreements, providing support and guidance to other members of the IT Team and coaching colleagues from other areas of the business on technical trends and options and participating in the supplier selection and service implementation process. Additionally I agreed the Central Systems annual budget and ensured that it was managed and controlled within financial parameters and developed investment appraisals for review and agreement.   Thunderbird Fried Chicken Limited [TBFC] is the brainchild of racing car driver turned London wing king Matt Harris. TBFC won top spot at London’s Wing Fest and quickly gained a cult following in Street Feast sites Dinerama and Giant Robot with its wings, buns and buckets. Having now secured Private Equity financing the brand is set to grow at pace in 2019 and beyond.
