Business Imaging was next acquired by Toshiba Business Solutions in October 2006.

Left this council only because my Konica Minolta dealership was purchased by Toshiba.

      Toshiba Business Solutions purchased Business Imaging Systems, Marathon Imaging Systems and Advanced Imaging Systems in October 2006. I was promoted to Vice President of Sales and asked to merge all three companies into one large sales organization without losing any key personal and maintaining and growing revenue.MY ROLE: Managed all the Arizona and Southern California sales operations with over 60 employees. My principal accountabilities were as follows:1. Profitable subsidiary that meets revenue/margin expectations2. Effective training programs for all sales personnel3. Build infrastructure that works together as a team to provide products and services that meet or exceed the customer's requirements.4. Motivate and retain key personnel that are valued for the contribution they bring to the organization.5. Design Sales Compensation Plan that provides a fair, competitive compensation package, holds reps accountable for results, recognizes and rewards superior performance, encourages employees to work as a team, and allows for personal growth. With the rapid growth that Samsung is having in their business products division, Samsung has selected nine premier Samsung dealers from around the United States to represent nine regions. The nine representatives are the liaison between all Samsung dealers and Samsung Corporate. This enables Samsung to get valuable information right from the street on what clients needs and requests are. As the elected President of this Advisory Panel, I serve as the final liaison for collecting all the input from the nine representatives and communicate directly with senior management within Samsung Corporate. The purpose and goal of this Advisory Council is to make sure our Samsung partner is getting excellent information from the users, details on what is working best, what customer are asking for and how Samsung can best service everyone.
