Also recommend network design changes/enhancements for improved systems availability and performance.-Maintenance, configuration and testing of Cisco dealing with protocols such as port Security, VLANs, VoIP, Routing (RIP, OSPF, EIGRP & BGP) and ACLs dealing with layer1 and layer 2 problems and upgrading IOS.-Identified there was no asset management system so swiftly put new processes, methodologies and systems in place which enabled all assets to be centrally managed.-Utilise Windows Server Update Services to manage and deploy software patches.-Processed and authorised change requests this included plan, coordinate downtime, and obtain necessary approvals from designated business partners for each specific change request.-Provides communications to all areas related to the change request.
