      I was placed onsite as the first point of contact for a local voluntary and community organisation in Tufnell Park. This was to help revamp their IT systems in preparation for a migration to Microsoft 365, including cloud-based management (Intune/MDM), and more efficient collaboration between users using services such as Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive. I worked alongside the infrastructure team, as their “eyes and ears” on the ground, to facilitate the mail migration and help move accounts from Gmail to Exchange/Outlook online. On completion of the project, I joined the main Service Desk team in the Islington-based HQ to provide daily remote telephone support to clients from the PPCP Group MSP call centre.- Creating and verifying local and online backups of user data before a major system migration- Performing clean installs of Windows 10 (using an answer file) and applying provisioning package in OOBE.- Answering, logging, and solving calls relating to hardware, software and user understanding issues- Provide user training as required, including induction training for new starters- Resolve tickets through deskside support or remotely via telephone/Quick Assist- Performing daily routine checks to ensure IT systems are functioning properly (network printers, email, - Internet connectivity, OneDrive/SharePoint storage)- Using ConnectWise Manage to triage tickets in-line with SLAs and ITIL, keeping track of my KPIs to ensure that I am working on/responding to tickets in a time-efficient and appropriate manner Show less

      I Joined the In-House IT Support Technician team at Ravens Wood School to assist with the setup and configuration of 300+ new desktops/laptops. Tasks carried out included:• Inspecting hardware components of old machines to determine whether their SSD/GPU can be reinstalled into other machines before their disposal.• Carrying out Office space migrations (including Daisy-chaining VOIP Telephones and custom peripherals)• Running CAT-5 Ethernet cables through ceilings/walls for a CCTV installation.• Ensuring all classrooms/offices have neat cable management (using trunking when applicable)• Using MDT alongside WDS to carry out the deployments of a preconfigured system image containing the correct Windows OS edition, necessary group policies and injecting the correct drivers for the different desktop models and peripherals used within the school by different departments and stakeholders. • Using WASP Asset Management software to correctly name, categorise and label every machine on-site for the purpose of having an organised list of the state and location of all computers managed on site.• Performing manual driver installations through Device Manager by pointing to a mapped drive containing any missing drivers not installed during the WDS system image deployment.• Quality checking CAT-5 ethernet cables currently being used – cutting away any damaged parts of the cable before re-terminating the cable with an RJ-45 connector Show less
