  Apprentice Electrician

  I have worked as an apprentice electrician for over 2 years. We almost exclusively work commercially. I have first hand experience with VFD installation and programming and waste water management systems.

  I work in the Mackey Equipment room primarily doing laundry and passing out uniforms to the basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball teams and staff. I worked an average of about 10 hours a week while being a full time student during the duration of the 2023 Spring semester. I was an undergraduate researcher in the Purdue Summer Training, Awareness, and Readiness for Semiconductors (STARS) program. STARS is an eight week program that is aimed at preparing new talent in the field of semiconductor manufacturing and IC design, fabrication, and packaging. I was in the Chip Design and IC Layout track and we covered basic electronics, digital logic, custom circuit design, FPGAs, and writing System Verilog code in Visual Studio.

  Engineering Intern

  I was an engineering intern at Monticello Spring Corporation. I primarily used Python for Raspberry Pi and programmed GUIs for machines within the plant. The GUIs either ran using Tkinter and Flask concurrently in a Python script or using GUIZero within a Python script.

  Process Control Intern

  I was a process control intern at the Primient Lafayette plant (formerly known as Tate & Lyle South). I gained experience in instrumentation such as pressure, flow, temperature, and level transducers, automation, program narratives, electrical schematics, PID loops, and manufacturing.
