  Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station - I&C Technician at this nuclear-powered plant. Worked with all aspects of the control and monitoring systems. Emphasis on digital controls. Primary responsibility was the plant computer systems that stored plant operational data and provided operator displays for the nuclear safety systems. The last four years were spent working in a specialized group created to rework the plant electronics. We reverse-engineered many electronic systems that were considered obsolete and no longer supported by the manufacturer, either upgrading or releasing a completely redesigned unit. Show less
