      A research was conducted as a school course requirement involving nurse participants from a variety of hospitals and clinics across Jamaica. The aim of the study was to determine whether or not the nurses were stressed, and experiencing burnout syndrome and if not, if they utilize coping mechanisms to deal with their stress. I assisted Dr. Jeffrey East with a research paper involving diabetics. I solely interviewed over one hundred patients from various departments of the Cornwall Regional Hospital, Mount Salem, Montego Bay, as well as other various clinics in St. James.
