      Waitress

I worked part-time as a waitress for 2 years, where I learnt many skills which helped secure my job during University. The staff worked as a large team during wedding receptions and christenings, helping prepare the decorations, set up the tables, tidy the function rooms, bring food and drinks to customers, seat customers at their allocated table, clear plates and glasses, then tidy the area at the end of the night before preparing for the next event. I also worked in the restaurant section, where I took food and drink orders off each table and ensured each customer was happy. I started this job at a young age and feel it increased my confidence significantly, built my interaction skills with others and provided me with a strong work ethic. Show less
