Nov 2007 - Apr 2017Spearheaded the day-to-day operational and financial funnel of multiple M-I SWACO business lines in the Cabinda region, with direct reports for ~60 offshore & onshore engineers across Angola and expats. Guided the introduction of a new business line from Verti-G cutting dryers to zero discharge due to a change in legislation, leading the transition of old workshops into new, purpose-built facility with unhindered services.Notable Achievements:• Achieved the Tender Award for the successfully securing the Chevron drilling waste management contract in Cabinda.• Led the complete nationalisation of the work crew, introducing a proactive way of working as opposed to reactive ones.• Implemented standard equipment maintenance programs and ensured zero environmental and HSE incident occurrence.• Set the Chevron all-time global record for footage/tonnage, drilled/moved for ship & skip zero discharge operations.• Delivered one calendar year with zero non-productive time (NPT) related to M-I SWACO equipment despite an aggressive drilling schedule - witnessed for the first time in the region with a previous high of 60+hrs. A key member of the Lean business model roll out, I supervised and approved all surveys, reports, drawings and bills of materials; writing ‘Survey Training Courses’ for ES engineers and assisting in the compilation of work packs, technical drawings, certifications, etc. for various projects.Notable Achievements:• Critically designed, manufactured, FAT, installed and delivered bespoke centrifuge solutions on behalf of BP.• Successfully delivered multiple projects and sales with no service quality issues despite the downturn in the oil & gas business.• Found a solution for cold forming and installation of pipework for a first of its kind installation of M-I SWACO, delivering the project seamlessly within strict rig procedures.
