I am currently working as a production planner within the GEA Pharma and Healthcare division. During this time my position has evolved in the way of which I now own processes throughout the site. I am also the elected digitalization expert of the site; recently creating my own app for workshop capacity planning using power apps. I have also developed various other reports used throughout the business created from the Power Bi platform. Each week I undertake the following:● Maintenance and development of Power Bi reports.● Maintenance and development of Power Apps.● Various methods of data analysis.● Managing and improving the production order process.● Resource and Space capacity planning.● Conversing with various departments to anticipate and overcome varying problems.● Creating and maintaining project plans with the use of MS Project● Presenting Capacity reports to key stakeholders.● Daily use of SAP for tracking materials, operations and production orders.● Exporting data from SAP to create and/or update reports.● Using Excel for multiple applications, complex Lookups to analyse data, pivot tables to collate/cross reference information from various tables and many other uses. Throughout my current time in this role I have thoroughly enjoyed developing my personal attributes, meeting new people and contributing toward business initiatives. Show less I had taken on Project Planning in full in the interrim as well as my role of Production planner. during this ensure I was responsible for the following:- liasing with sales to understand customer requirements regarding lead time and budget. - create MSP project schedules for complex engineering projects - assign the budgets form sales configuration sheets to the project plans - Manage senior stakeholders to investigate and resolve leadtime reduction- Full administrative responsibility of the PWA (Projsct Web App) system and all project plans - Read technical documents; order confirmation documents in order to challenge leadtime, budget and resource - Head monthly capacity meetings with all senior directors During this time I learned very valuable and adaptive skills to aid me in my professional development. Working closely with the projects and sales team allowed me to deeply understand project processes and key milestones. Show less Once I had completed my 4 year apprenticeship I was taken on as a fully skilled mechanical engineer. I completed my Level 4 HNC in July 2023. During my time in this position I carried out the following:● Mechanical assembly of bespoke equipment.● Understanding and conveying technical information.● Complex lifting operations.● Read and understand complex Schematics including GA's, Loops and P&ID's.● Assembly and testing of pneumatic components.● Manual machining on both lathe and mill, working to tolerances of 0.02mm.● Loading and Unloading of heavy loads with a Forklift.● Operation of MEWP and Star-10.● Precise installation/set up of complex components with tight tolerance requirements.● Use of strong problem solving abilities to adapt, overcome and improve upon issues discovered during build. Throughout this time I was very eager to learn more, help more and do more as part of a strong manufacturing team. This inevitably aided my soon after promotion to Production Planner. Show less During this apprenticeship I undertook various qualifications consisting of both practical and theoretical assessments. in my 4 year apprenticeship; including an extra year for HNC Lvl 4, I completed the following:●Level 2 Foundation Certificate in General engineering.● Level 2 certificate in IT Foundation Skills.●Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma in advanced engineering.● Level 3 NVQ Qualification in Mechanical Engineering and Machining. ● Level 4 HNC in Advanced Engineering. ● Yellow Belt lean certificate. ● MEWP and Articulated boom training.● Forklift license up to 5T. ● Overhead Gantry training.● Abrasive Wheels training. ● First Aid training. As can be seen I always took all training as an opportunity to increase my versatility within the team. Looking to always improve and strive for opportunities. Show less
