Most deliver was on foot, however their was some requiring the use of a deliver van or truck.

  Mine Engineering Technician

  Responsible underground and surface surveying as well as ventilation design, troubleshooting and maintenance, ground control and rock mechanics. I am responsible for the day to day survey requirements that the production crews require. Time management is critical as to keep down time for surveying to a minimum. Investigate, consult and educate crews with any ventilation and ground control issues. Safety is a vital aspect to any job, and something that is very serious and important to me. I am a current member of the OH+S committee, as well as a active member of our peer on peer safety program. I am Saskatchewan Mine Rescue certified (2014 Saskatchewan Mine Rescue Provincial champions). I am a medical first responder that responds at work, as well as in the community. I have operated various mining equipment including but not limited to: continuous mining machines, rehab miners, and heavy equipment such as scoops, bolters, scalers, forklifts, ore cars, etc. I am experienced in mining both the Chevron style and room and pillar methods (I have worked at both PCS Cory, and Rocanville). I am mechanically inclined. Very good with computers. I have my underground mine supervisor certificate with the ministry. And, I am most definitely, not afraid to take on new challenges and learn new skills (currently enrolled in Queen's University working towards my mine engineering degree). Show less
