      • Contributed to developing statistical foundations for machine learning-based score likelihood ratio (SLRs) inference. A statistical method that enables the computation of the value of evidence when contrasting opposing propositions in criminal justice. Provided applications in cases where traditional likelihood models are unfeasible to estimate, as in complex pattern evidence in forensics sciences.• Developed a novel resampling and ensemble learning approach for SLRs under the common source problem. Mitigating the dependence structure, reducing error rates, and increasing the discriminatory power of SLRs. • Introduced synthetic source anchoring to address the specific source problem, a data augmentation technique to increase the effective sample size of learning instances and reduce dependence structures.• Designed and conducted comprehensive simulation studies using high-performance computing to validate statistical methodologies in forensic sciences.• Presented at leading conferences, including the American Statistical Association Joint Statistical Meetings (ASA-JSM), the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS), and the South Dakota Data Science Symposium (SDDSU). Additionally, research results were presented in departmental research seminars and webinars for practitioners. Show less

•Collaborated in the development of methodological extensions for dose-response modeling. By integrating frequency variables into traditional models, our approach allowed consideration of dose and dosing regimen simultaneously.•Successfully implemented our novel statistical methods into an R package, effectively communicating our research findings and enabling frequency dose-ranging trials in pharmacological studies.
