      I joined LogicaCMG Asia as the bid manager for a new major contract to be awarded in Indonesia. The results of the ‘win’ can be seen in my next assignment above. At the start of the bid process there were 6 potential suppliers including HP, IBM and Accenture. To be seen as a stronger bid we joined forces with HP as a partner as a significant part of the contract was to run and operate for 5 years of which HP has significant credibility. I therefore became the bid manager for both LCMG and HP combined submissions and responsible for managing both teams. After a protracted bid cycle LCMG / HP won the contract for the initial build with a further 4 years run and operate. Show less

The project had been ongoing for almost 18 months and was considered as at serious risk of not ever going live after repeatedly missing launch dates. I was selected as the team lead from CVG with 49 onsite and a further 26 off shore resources. The project is currently in the later phases and scheduled to ‘go live’ in Mid December. • Manage solution delivery against agreed contractual scope• Increase revenue by careful control of additional enhancements• Manage project risks• Manage resources and team management.Note) During August the project was audited and approved to ISO 9002. The solution was based upon the Oracle B/OSS suite of products such as BRM, Siebel, Mediation and also Oracle ECM and ERP.Responsible for: • Management of solution delivery against agreed contractual scope which was a daily challenge to stop scope creep• Effective manage project risks, scope and stakeholder communications• Select, recruit and manage resources of team of over 200.• Manage customer relations and Increase of sales contract value by 25% to $7m• Managed a staff of 9 direct reports and total team size of 90The project was successful and went live on 29th December on time and within budget. Joint venture Telanor and Unitech now branded Uninor to supply complete IT and O/BSS stack for a run and operate contract. Products include Subex (RA and FMS), Intec (InterConnect, Mediation), Oracle BPM, Siebel CRM, Oracle ERP R12i, POS, BI/DW, DocMS, Dealer management system. Show less
