Due to which this company have different licensed off-the-shelf software for accounts production like IRIS, Sage Accounts Production (SAP), CCH, VT Accounts Production, etc. etc. And a person like me got a chance to learn almost each and every single software without any additional cost which is mostly in use in UK. During my short period of time at Techno Beavers I learned a lot and this organization plays a vital role in developing my technical skills and soft skills which actually becomes basic source of self-confidence and self-motivation. During my employment at Techno Beavers I learned how to prepare the accounts with incomplete records which was in reality a great experience for me.I was involved in bank reconciliation, accounts receivable reconciliation, accounts payable reconciliation, maintenance of fixed asset register and depreciation adjustment, debt factoring, updation of accrual schedule, prepayment schedule, adjustment of accrued income, deferred income and moreover posting of opening balance adjustments in the software after the finalization and submission of financial statements and tax return at Companies House (it works just like Security Exchange Commission of Pakistan) and HMRC (just like Income Tax Department of Pakistan). I was responsible to prepare budget for all three segments of the business (Decorative, industrial & Refinish). All of the three segments are controlled individually by their respective regions and every segment has its own budget. Quarterly I used to send the rolling forecast on their respective budgets to their regions along with details of variances if required.Receivables monitoring is a critical area in Paints industry. I used to monitor our overdue debtors on fortnightly basis against the credit lines given to the business. Extensive monitoring and lots of analysis are conducted to monitor debtors to avoid going into overdue. Bad debts provision is calculated on monthly basis according to company policy and any increase in provision is calculated and booked accordingly.I was responsible to prepare presentations for Board, Audit Committee and monthly presentation for PET (Paints executive team) on business result along with reasons for variances called PPRM (Paints Profit Review meeting)In addition to above I was responsible to liaison with internal & external auditors to conduct their audit and to follow up with other business functions on audit findings and help them to improve processes which are highlighted by the auditors.
