The key projects were the National Action plan on Biodiversity, Capacity Building of Lao National Mekong Committee, and the National Mine Policy. This position required extensive liaison with the relevant Lao ministries, namely the Science, Technology and Environment Agency, Ministry of Forestry and Lao National Mekong Committee. My main tasks were to ensure decent plans, budgets, and verification of progress and monitoring of financial reports from the responsible ministries. The work included coaching of the officials.
