  A large part of my role at the AAEDC is to be the liaison between the Alexandria community business professionals and the Alexandria Area High School, coordinating and organizing speakers and events. In 2018 we reached over 3,800 volunteer hours. Since July of 2015 I have been a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) local chapter and recent board member helping with program content, administering the biennial Wage & Benefits survey, coordinating the annual Employment Law Update conference and the Alexandria Area Job Fair. In 2018 I joined the Human Resource Committee for the YMCA. Over the last year I have added marking coordinator duties to my role and managed the company social media platforms, created and designed publications, website updates, email marketing and coordinated large company events.
