  Check-in and out guests, using OnQ property software, daily according to time of day. Take payment of credit cards/check/or cash at check-in and check-out of guests. Cashier for a gift shop that was at the front desk. Cash count bank at end of shift to make sure it is even, and make deposits into the hotel safe if applicable. Take phone calls of in house guests when needed and call guests when needed. PBX operator for hotel, taking outside phone calls, and transferring to the needed department. Answering guest's questions at the front desk for the local attractions and also answering guest comments or concerns at the front desk, PBX, or on phone. Multi-tasking when at the front desk when multiple check-ins are coming in and/or on the phone. Teamwork with managers and coworkers to make sure check-in or check-outs go smoothly and efficiently. Night Auditing work for the hotel, gift shop, in-hotel restaurant, and bar. Taking receipts for all locations and organize and make sure everything is in order. Plugin today's totals for hotel into Property software and Excel spreadsheets for in house accounting. Print and give out reports to the necessary managers and necessary workers. Send emails of today's events and talking to managers about guest comments or concerns. Work with third parties if having any issues with payment and/or issue with reservation. Guest service and Concierge for the hotel in helping guest in local attractions, shows, and what to do in the area. Show less
