      Served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Georgia Bank and as a member of the Corporate Management Committee. Provided strategic guidance to the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors for $12 billion asset bank. Responsible for operations and management of general accounting and finance functions including month end closing and reporting, the development of annual operating and capital spending plans, analysis and optimization of financial performance including capital acquisitions and asset liability pricing. Repositioned a $12 billion branch network via consolidations, divestitures, and acquisitions. Served as Acquisition Team Leader and led the bank in conducting 10 due diligences, resulting in acquisitions and mergers of four institutions, and adding $6 billion in assets. Coordinated the systems conversions and work force integration activities associated with acquisitions and divestitures. Designed and developed a corporate-wide methodology, used by M&A teams in due diligences to forecast, post acquisition performance. The methodology was utilized to facilitate the determination of appropriate bids, resulting in acquisitions of financial institutions accounting for asset growth in excess of $100 billion.
