I run the team that manages programs and projects, establishes the business-related IT architecture, to ensure dependable realization of business value propositions, and alignment with corporate strategy. Engineering non-functional requirements, establishing proper QA through Inspections. Doing quality management lately: I successfully showed a 13:1 ROI for requirements- and design inspections, saving project budget in the 6-7 figure range. I'm responsible for the requirements of a subdomain in the Operations business unit. 10-12 IT systems currently run in this subdomain. I support my internal customers by designing a project that aims at a complete re-build. I lead the team of business architects and do the IT-specific project management for the customer's senior process owner. Supervision of a new provider who had to start by refactoring a system in the 10.000 function points category. My success criteria (all met) were 1) reducing the costs for maintenance, 2) delivering a refactored system which still does what it had done before (no new bugs) and 3) delivering a system that performs better that the old one. Successful design and implementation of the first near-agile project at my company. I combined Evo and Scrum to achieve 2 week delivery cycles (9 months is the norm at the organization). About 8.000 Function Points. Requirements Manager and Business Analyst for a new system which supports the business processes of 32.000 users. The solution uses the GPRS mobile communication standard and standard web technology to connect 2 centralized and 1 distributed system components. I was responsible for design and implementation of the requirements management processes and tools. I led the team of business and systems analysts (3-4 people). Sucessful design and implementation of Requirements Engineering Principles, Processes, Rules and Tools for the company's largest data warehouse. About 30.000 Function Points.
