Feb 2016 - Aug 2019Youth AmbassadorI was a Youth Advisor and Ambassador for Plan International UK's Youth Advisory Panel. During this time I contributed to the research and writing of the Girl's Rights Report, the planning of the Youth Action Festival, lobbying MPs and other government bodies. I spoke to journalists from the Telegraph and other news sources about current campaigns, and attended a parliamentary event campaigning for SRE, which involved making statements to and working with MPs, and reporting on the event across social media. I also contributed to the planning of funding proposals to the likes of DIFD and the World Bank, and engaged with young people to provide a voice for the youth within Plan International. Show less
