  ETL Offloading Platform (Big Data Project) for Robi Axiata Limited• The solution was to create a data model deployed in a big data environment to support their analytical and reporting requirements of the data sources available.• Source data related to different sources has loaded to edge nodes of the existing Big Data platform of Robi in the format of text files.• These source files require to be loaded to the Staging layer on HDFS.• Then, it transformed and derived new data by applying the existing business logic.• We were able to bring down the current data latency from 1 day to 1 hour.• To easily execute and manage ETL processes, required developments were done using a Big Data Integration product: Talend.Tools and Technologies used:• Talend as the ETL tool to handle big data• Apache Hadoop Cloudera manager to manage Hadoop and deploy the clusters• Talend Administration centre (TAC) for data integration, data management etc. Show less BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE SOLUTION FOR TRADE FINANCE DEPARTMENT• The solution was focused on providing a data mart for the trade finance team to deliver an identified set of critical operational reports.• Then provide analyses for the business are in multiple analytical views and assist in reaching data-backed business decisions faster.Tools and Technologies used:• OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition) administration tool to create summarized data structures for the data mart.• POWER BI to provide advanced analytical dashboards and will allow the end users to create and manage ad-hoc reports securely.
