  Katherine Suarez-Sarmiento has been in the commercial real estate industry since 2009, and first joined CBRE as a Client Services Specialist for the CBRE National Retail Partners - Florida team in July 2009. In her role as a Client Services Specialist, she was responsible for coordinating and creating marketing materials for the six-person team that achieved more than $1.53 billion in sales during her tenure. In December 2012, Ms. Suarez-Sarmiento transitioned into her role as an Assistant Real Estate Manager (AREM) with CBRE’s Asset Services division. As an AREM, she assisted in managing the day-to-day operations of Brickell Office Plaza, a 286,000 square foot, 13-story office building located in the heart of Miami’s Downtown Brickell area. Her other responsibilities include tenant relations, planning building events, client communication and satisfaction, and financial reporting. Ms. Suarez-Sarmiento returned to the Florida team in 2015 as Client Services Team Lead, where she handles all aspects of the creation of marketing materials, client reporting, website production and maintenance.
