       Measure the Sudden Ionospheric Disturbances (SID) caused by the effect of immediate Solar Flares through SuperSID monitor at VLF frequency & correlated the data with GOES satellite data to predict the trend of space weatherusing SID observations. Fabricated the loop antenna for the project & calibrated it with VLF sources for detecting SIDs. Provided by Stanford Solar Center & funded by Society of Amateur Radio Astronomers (SARA).

       Designed a mechanical locking mechanism for the dome slits of telescope to withstand high wind loads &calculated wind loads and failure stresses for the locking mechanism. Modelled the locking mechanism on AutoCAD and Siemens NX. Performed load analysis using Siemens NX. Prepared bill of material for procurement & prepared a process plan for the manufacturing of the lock components.Supervised the fabrication of the lock components at the mechanical workshop.

Performed load analysis formounting structure, calculated CG for the antenna placement and used Solidworks & Ansys workbench forsimulations. Fabricated the antenna structure at mechanical workshop, using affordable material to reduce the manufacturingcost of the project.
