  Working in a fast paced, high-pressure environment in a customer facing position. Cash handling, accuracy and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction was of utmost importance. Within this role I had to be perceptive and responsive to customer trends and use my initiative to ensure stock is sufficiently filled for the working day in order to maintain smooth running of the business, so efficiency of the business would be increased. Having worked for 2 years I was given a responsibility to train entry level staff to a standard in which they can work on their own without supervision or extensive guidance. I have trained over 5 members of staff in both “front of house” and kitchen skills and provided assistance and training to both sides of the business as required. Show less

  Sales Representative

  Self employed under an outsourcing company that focused on field sales to increase income for their clients. This role allowed me to develop my confidence and creativity when it came to approaching potential new sales leads. During my short time here I learnt to analyse potential customers and adapt my approach to cater for my target customer. Using the skills I had developed, I was able to increase total sales within the company and secure contracts with customers on a daily basis.   ICT Software Development Apprentice

  During this apprenticeship I have developed software and web applications using C#. SQL, HTML and created reports using Power BI while learning the technologies from both my peers and from undertaking my Software Development Technician Level 3 course. Within my role I have created a Chatbot using the Microsoft Bot Framework, C# and Azure. This reduced the amount of calls received by the service desk by automating handling of common queries for users. I was able to champion development of the tool by presenting my business case to IT Management and Programme Managers. I worked with colleagues from different teams and departments to build the knowledge base needed for the “Staff Bot” to be effective. Through extensive research and self learning I was able to show to my manager that I had a good commitment and attitude towards work. From this and other work I have been awarded Runner Up in the Apprentice of the Year award. Other basic responsibilities include Attending meetings with colleagues and management, running and creating reports using Power BI, maintaining the council’s existing software and creating web design templates using , and providing a flexible resource to meet needs as they arose.
