  I was selected as one of 15 fellows from a national applicant pool to participate in a 10-month fellowship offered to community advocates interested in public policy. Part time position held in conjunction with my role at TeenSHARP.▪ I founded the Youth Advocacy Council of Delaware, which trains high school students to analyze and develop policies that produce equitable outcomes for students. ▪ I trained students to conduct listening tours, develop policy proposals, pitch their ideas to top leaders, and create a campaign strategy to implement their action plans.▪ The students produced a report with recommendations to increase teacher diversity, which was incorporated into state action plans for the Department of Education and district school boards.
