  Energy Case Competitor for the Accessing Careers in Energy Summit (ACES)

  Representing Jackson State University, I had to opportunity to compete in the ACES Conference. The ACES invitational summit featured three major components: professional development, content knowledge sharing, and an energy case competition. This Summit was hosted by local power companies (Southwest Power Pool, Entergy, and Midcontinent Independent System Operator). I competed with Jackson State University's Team and placed fourth.

  As the social media intern, I assisted the department by increasing their presence on social media platforms supporting the values of the department. This position required me to create and schedule posts, monitor the social media platform, and engage with our followers.
