Following my position as a junior swim instructor on my private swim team, starting a separate entity seemed like an advancement. Using previous contacts and continued outreach allowed me to build a clientele that would schedule weekly swim instruction. Spending months to grow the business allowed me to outsource to other swim instructors and further develop my marketing and outreach.- Developed cost effective marketing tactics that allowed clientele to grow upwards of 300% and increase overall profit- Communicated with consumers to provide them with a pleasurable experience that resulted in word-of-mouth marketing and further expansion- Organized a schedule that would allow customers to pick dates and times that worked according to their schedule which resulted in consistent appointments and income Show less After gaining contacts with local families that were in need of a nanny, I took on the responsibility searching for the right fit in terms of needs and responsibilities. This included daily care of two children, general household upkeep, and coordinating of schedules and activities, allowing me learn accountability and what I look for in the future.- Coordinating children's schedules and activities which allowed the family to remain organized and involved in the community- Creating a household schedule for things like meal planning, cleaning, and laundry that reduced stress in the parents and resulted in a pleasurable experience for the entire family- Delivered children to school and activities with all of their necessary belongings which allowed them to pursue more of their interests without any anxiety Show less
