  In this role, I oversaw the implementation of leadership’s strategic guidance across Europe and Africa (105 nations). I served as the focal point for all administrative needs of almost 500 members in the directorate by streamlining task completion, managing the complex schedules of three principals, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. This position gave me a distinct vantage point to understand the need for innovative solutions in how our Air Force operates. I was previously selected to participate in a professional cohort of innovation specialists (Project Mercury) where our team developed new global applications of private industry technology for logistics and supply chain issues. It was a highlight of my military career to learn new thinking frameworks, explore the integration of commercial products with defense capabilities, and network with like-minded individuals who are passionate about accelerating change! Show less As a Deputy Manager for the Strategic Operations division (Deputy Branch Chief and Info Ops Planner) in the 603d Air Operations Center, I specialized in coordinating cross-functional teams of social science, intelligence, cyber, space, and policy experts to guide air operations strategies, building partnerships with U.S. allies, and protecting U.S. interests across Europe and Africa.I also had the unique experience of personally supporting the Afghanistan Evacuation crisis on the Cultural Engagement Team where we collaborated with over 50 joint and interagency personnel to develop the installation’s strategic communications plan. Over 36K refugees transited through Ramstein Air Base before being relocated to the United States as part of the largest non-combatant evacuation in history. It was an honor to be a part of this historic event and it reinforced for me why service to our country is so special. Show less As a program manager for the 492d Special Operations Wing, I led the stand-up of our Strategic Communications (Information Operations) division, developing the long-term strategy and implementation plan including policy and organization changes, operational taskings, and key leader engagements across the international community, as well as security/protection measures to protect USAF assets. During a special assignment, I was able to identify four opportunities for growth and built the subsequent marketing campaign plan to include conducting market research and tailoring strategic messaging to various audiences. This position allowed me to explore what it truly meant to lead an end-to-end project and understand all facets of management throughout its lifecycle. Leading numerous small teams, we developed the initial concepts, put plans into action, and were able to iterate new initiatives, finding an overall best solution that was presented to senior leadership and ultimately granted approval for funding and manning. This assignment has shaped my overall career aspirations to include seeking a position where I can continue to be a part of cross-functional teams developing near- and long-term strategic proposals. Show less My first assignment in the USAF was as the Lead Instructor for two Intercultural Competencies courses, reaching over 700 joint-service personnel annually. Additionally, I designed and executed the inaugural open house for the installation’s Language & Culture Center, showcasing technical training capabilities to an audience of 230 community members and media representatives. I honed my public speaking, market landscape research, and teamwork skills in this first role.During my tenure as a lead instructor, I was hand-selected to serve as an Executive Assistant to the CEO (Executive Officer to the Wing Commander). This special assignment gave me a first-hand experience of the daily oversight and execution of the operational level of management. I served as a focal point for all administrative staffing (over 120 promotion reports and 600 performance evaluations) and was able to increase the on-time rate 70% by streamlining review procedures and eliminating superfluous requirements. Following my position as an Exec, I deployed to Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar as a Strategy Manager (Information Operations Planner). Leading a team of seven, we overhauled the command’s non-kinetic capability strategy synchronizing 32 operations across three theaters, bolstering the defense of the Arabian Gulf and slashing mission planning time by 50%. Our team was awarded “Team of the Year” for 2x first-of-its-kind initiatives!I returned from my deployment and was personally chosen to lead the command’s Flight Leadership Course, reaching 400 students across the world. Our team focused on paired leadership at the lowest levels for all lesson objectives, equipping the organization’s future leaders with resiliency resources, an emotional intelligence foundation, and empowerment to make the right decisions in ethical dilemmas.   As part of the Hiring Our Heroes Career Forward Fellowship, I joined Coinbase as a Strategy Program Manager. In this role, I helped to develop a new risk management strategy with the PMO team, provide change management to the almost 300 member organization, as well as reorganize and revamp document templates and archival plans. At the end of the fellowship, I was offered a full-time contract role to continue on in the position I came to love!
