  Performed routine legal work in the evaluation of new complaints received by the agency, including administrative violations and criminal history reports as well as self-reports to make preliminary determinations regarding potential violations of the occupations code or applicable rules, including working closely with other departments. In coordination with the Litigation and Enforcement Manager and Director of Operations, drafted Warning Letters and other settlement documents. Helped track pre-investigation cases for reporting to the Board.Prosecuted administrative enforcement cases at Informal Settlement Conferences (ISC). Work involved litigation practice with some legal writing and knowledge of Board rules and the applicable Practice Acts for Physicians, Physician Assistants, Medical Radiological Technologists, Respiratory Care Practitioners, Acupuncturists, Surgical Assistants and Medical Physicists. ISC prosecution included preparation of packets for presentation at hearings and the drafting of agreed orders, Remedial Plans and dismissal memos. Coordinated with legal assistants, paralegals, nurse investigators, and other agency staff as needed to prepare documents for case prosecution in an effective and efficient manner.
