      The Director of Peer Services for ACCS is a member of the ACCS Leadership Team, providing consultation and education to supervisors and program managers on recovery concepts and values. The Director of Peer services provides regular training and support in recovery related topics. Using their own lived experience as a positive model, the Director of Peer Services provides education, consultation and support to all team members to enhance the recovery perspective of the teams. • Offers hope that Recovery is possible by acting as a role model for recovery and using personal recovery story, as appropriate• Participates in recruitment, hiring, orientation and training for all peer support staff within ACCS.• Provides weekly supervision to Senior Peer Specialist and for all Peer Specialists and Recovery Coaches and Family Partners. • Provides monthly group supervision to all peer support staff within ACCS programs.• Co-facilitates Peer Networking bi-monthly meeting within Riverside.• Assists in development of area Peer Support Groups with ongoing participation in the group. • Stays appraised of community services, networks and opportunities in the community for peer support and make recommendations to peer support staff. • Facilitates workshops/meetings for Persons with similar interests, including activity-based groups, social groups, wellness activities, WRAP groups, etc. Show less Community Based Flexible Supports provide individuals with access to rehabilitation, employment, housing, wellness and peer services, with ancillary supports that will be coordinated in partnership with the individual. Services are designed to be flexible and to promote resiliency and recovery for all participants.The Operations Director works as a member of the CBFS leadership team to develop and direct programming provided by the identified specialist staff and to coordinate hiring, new employee orientation, and data collection to facilitate program operations. Together with a dedicated team of staff we teamed up with individuals whose lives and career paths have been put on hold/interrupted by the impacts of trauma, life events and symptoms of emotional distress. Using the IPS (Individual Placement and Support) model we partnered with each person and using their strength, dreams and visions of their own life, we were part of so many incredible success stories of people finding their career, following their passion, returning and completing school and creating a life of their choice.The program was ranked as one of the best of its kind in Massachussetts until fundings were cut for all SEE programs in 2008.
