  Led Birmingham City Council's intervention at Al-Hijrah School which faced major issues & media scrutiny prior to my arrival. It then achieved its highest examination results in 2015 as the top achieving mixed school in England (outside SE) with 30%+ disadvantaged children. Even higher results in 2016 including VA of 1050 for girls achievement at KS4 one of the highest in the region.

We achieved a balanced budget after inheriting a £900k operating deficit, and resolved the highly & nationally significant corporate debt issue. ESFA Report 2019 described me as an ...
