  I was responsible for the day to day management of the dispensary operations. I managed the other technicians and assistants in the pharmacy. maintained inventory and dealt with pharmaceutical drug reps, planned and implemented clinic days, complied research articles as requested by the pharmacist, maintained the software and updates as well as all functions related to entering and filling retail and compliance pack prescriptions.Organizing clinic days and inventory management became my passions while working at Brooklin Pharmacy. Our pharmacy was one of the first independent stores to use the Nexxsys pharmacy software system. When McKesson implemented the new inventory module for this program, I was often consulted by the McKesson rep for feedback on the system. Show less

  I was responsible for training and coaching existing retail employees on the new Delta software system. This e-health integrated software system is being implemented across Canada by Shoppers Drug Mart. I was also working with the rollout team performing both UAT and SQL testing on the software upgrades and providing feedback on ways to improve software performance.I was often sent on supplemental store visits to give extra support to stores that require more specialized assistance adapting to the new program.
