This include[d], but [was] not limited to, authorizing volunteer committees to accomplish specific tasks and projects such as annual in-service events, and the solicitation of input from the volunteers and Children’s patients and/or their family members on improving methods of accomplishing the overall mission of the volunteer program. VSAC members [could] serve up to three terms (three years) as a voting member.”I served on the Media and Family Relations subcommittee along with the Annual Volunteer Retreat Decorations Committee.       I was one of the founding members of the Claremont College’s chapter of Dance Marathon, 5C Dance Marathon or 5C DM (aka Party with a Purpose or PWAP). We raised money for our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). As the Hospital Relations Chair, my job was to facilitate meaningful volunteer opportunities at CHLA for members of 5C DM and to make connections with Miracle Families. #forthekids
