  ETL Operations

  - Worked in Electrolytic Tinning Line (ETL) Operations of both combination lines. Have controlled and managed different functions of production management such as : - a) Operations of ETLs b) Production Planning and its execution c) Packing Management d) DM Plant & Effluent Treatment of both ETLs e) Dispatch functions.- Responsible for managing the online identification and rectification of ETL defects and Tin free steel defects, i.e. Chromium plating defects in the product in coil form and in cut to length line.- Have expertise on blending of tinning electrolyte solution and TFS (Chromium) electrolyte solution.- Have the knowledge of manufacturing of DM water for ETLs and about the treatment of generated effluents of ETLs and TFS.- Have experience in controlling tin consumption especially in differential tin coating for which have been rewarded at TATA TINPLATE.- Improved the longevity of rubber rolls by using appropriate rolls at right positions, curtailing the down time which resulted in high productivity.- Have experience in value engineering project in reduction of downtime of Halden shear machine in Tata Tinplate by value engineering project and increased the volume of production significantly.- Have maintained the process parameters for ETL and TFS in order to keep the process defects within 1% and increased the prime yield with excellent product quality.- Implemented the safety tools on shop floor to keep the shop floor accident free and complied with the environmental pollution control rules.   - Started and managed the operations in blending of tinning electrolyte solutions in the beginning of the operations of the ETL plant. - Managing the operations of Electrolytic Tinning Line (ETL) and Cut to Length line (CTL).- Responsible for WIP of Tin mill black plate coils and tin coils.- Managing production planning of cut to length line along with its packing management.- Managing and controlling tin consumption of ETLs along with managing & controlling the functions of Anode Cast House.- Implemented the safety tools on shop floor to keep the shop floor accident free.- Responsible for the production report of ETL and CTL along with the scrap generation report of DCR mill and CPL.- Responsible for Packing and CTL. Have led the improvement in the packing quality and CTL product quality aiming at exceeding customer satisfaction.- Have regularly assisted the departments of DM and effluent treatment plant on important issues whenever required.
