AS400 based accounts system, to a network which now serves eighty users spread over three sites, in four buildings, employing W.A.N., M.A.N. and L.A.N. technologies. This network employs Cisco firewalls, switches and routers, category 5e cabling and wireless routers. As the additional sites were added to the Keelys organisation additional I.T. staff have been added, with my input in the recruitment process, so that at present my role as I.T. Manager includes the responsibility of managing two additional staff, one specialising in development and customisation of the firm's practise management system, and one specialising in developing the firm's internet and intranet sites. All three members of the I.T. department are involved in user support which has allowed me to gain experience in designing and managing a support call handling system. With the addition of remote sites to the organisation I have gained experience of designing and overseeing the implementation of network topologies from empty building to operating, productive office, which is integrated into the wider organisation. During the development of the Keelys network and systems I have overseen projects including the implementation of Microsoft Exchange email systems, Blackberry Enterprise Server system, employing various RIM Blackberry models, integrated legal practise management systems (Iris Evolution), Citrix software, and various hardware and software versions including H.P. and Dell hardware.
