      Research Intern

      Led the project on radio frequency fingerprinting for replay attacks in automobiles using IQ data.- Designed a novel technique for extracting features in the RF domain for the purpose of replay attack detection.- Developed augmentation and synthetic data generation mechanisms for car key signal recordings - 1) Augment the real car key signal recordings, 2) Create synthetic data that represents the impairments expected in signals replayed from different SDR devices.- Our final model can be integrated directly at the software level in modern vehicles and act as a sub-authentication mechanism to prevent replay attacks from any SDR device.
