  Rich is a Florida attorney, registered professional engineer and registered patent attorney with over 40 years of experience in the electric utility industry – particularly power plant design and Florida and Federal energy regulatory law. Since the 1980s he has on provided advice and counsel to many owners and operators of non-utility energy producers, cogenerators, renewable energy producers, waste-to-energy facilities and solar energy developers. He is focused on non-utility regulatory, business and contract matters; and, remains closely involved in the development and on-going evolution of the statutes, rules and regulations affecting solar and other renewable energy producers. He serves as a strong advocate for his clientsRich is a member of the Florida Bar and the Florida Engineering Society, and has served as chair of those organization’s Energy Committees in the past. Representative clients include: renewable energy developers and producers; solar energy developers and producers; qualifying facilities; and non-utility generators.
