  AIM Systems and Solutions Ltd was derived out of my ambition, skill set and experience in the Electrical & Data contracting industry. With H&S, Service Delivery and experience of Nationwide contracting the foundations of the company AIM sub contracted to larger companies in the PFI boom providing quality skilled labour that could deliver electrical, data, fibre, AV and IT deployment on PFI build packages and main contractor sites.AIM held Constructionline, CHAS, Safecontractor and CSCS Gold accreditations and we easily met and often exceeded the criteria requirements of our clients as sub contractors. In the data cabling sector we had accreditation with Systimax, HelermanTyton, ADC Krone and Molex offering warranted installation work. The ability to provide a reliable, professional and multi skilled sub contracting service to a growing sector did prove fruitful but not sustainable when the recession began in 2008. AIM was reluctantly dissolved in December 2010 after suffering 3 substantial liquidations.Lesson learnt, cash flow is everything!   GWIBS 24-7 are a Nationwide IT/EPOS rollout specialist. They deliver rapid deployment rollouts projects for blue chip clients. They have in house installers and an IT team to provide end to end project solutions on a Nationwide scale. Their niche is multi site deployment with blue chip clients, this account being IPCCTV deployment into the retail & distribution Estate of Boots. To summarise my role as Installation PM, I am part of a dedicated team working on the Boots account and we deliver IPCCTV in to the Boots estate. Working closely with the Boots Loss Dept, 3rd party contractors and Boots internal depts. we deliver a seamless transition from old analogue CCTV to new IPCCTV. Working Nationwide and most importantly without any business continuity loss to Boots. We remove all the old analogue CCTV to provide a new federated IPCCTV system that is on the Genetec VMS platform. The project journey for me starts at enquiry right through to handover and I am responsible for the P&L of these large Capital projects on the Boots account. Update- GWIBS 24-7 went into administration July 2015. Show less
