      Jul 2020 - Aug 2020
      Junior Project Management Intern

While working at GMP, I had multiple duties that introduced me to project management, specifically construction management. I assisted project managers and estimators in bidding for contracts, managing invoices and job documentation, and maintaining health and safety records from active job sites. Valuable and unique skills that were developed include being able to read structural drawings and perform quantity takeoffs, obtaining quotes from subcontractors, using AutoCAD, and analyzing tender documents. Data Analyst Intern

While working at Alstom-Bombardier, I was tasked with developing, automating, and supporting dashboards and database creation for the health, safety & environment department of the operations division. I was responsible for taking raw train operation data, as well as rule violation data and turning it into usable and readable statistics. These statistics and databases were later analyzed to aid the organization in making data-driven decisions. This experience greater familiarized and trained me in the usage of Excel. It also exposed me to the field of data analysis, teaching me the power data has in optimizing anything. Show less

      Manufacturing Intern

Executed multiple Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement projects on processes that support biomanufacturing. These projects involved GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) documentation control, sterilized parts flow improvement, and data collection/database creation. My projects improved manufacturing teams which helped prevent deviations and shorten lead times. This was truly a great learning experience where I gained a lot of knowledge about the pharmaceutical industry, manufacturing, and soft skills regarding working with others. National Space Society Space Settlement Contest - First Prize National Space Society 2020 The National Space Settlement Contest, formerly administered by NASA until 2019, requires a self-sustaining orbital space settlement design concept to be created. I, and a team of my friends, entered the contest in the "large group" category and won first prize. Teams from all over the world competed and we made it to the top of grade 12 Large Group division. It was a fun and interesting project that required me to consider many different facets of living in space.
